Why garden directly in the ground?

  • Less materials needed

  • Lower overall cost

  • Faster setup

  • Improved moisture and nutrient retention

Here's how it works

  • Irrigation

! hour is often enough to plan a vegetable garden, however consultations can also cover other elements of your landscape.

Step 2: Fallow dirt to fertile soil in 1.5-3 hours

This phase covers the bulk of the hard work involved in installing a new in-ground garden bed. This process will include:

  • Removing weeds

  • Digging deep, breaking up compaction (and potentially caliche)

  • Amending the soil with organic compost and fertilizers

Step 3: Irrigation

.The length of time for this phase can vary depending on what is needed, but we can figure this out during the site evaluation phase. Usually this includes things like:

  • Netafim Drip tubing

  • Irrigation ollas

  • Irrigation valves including simple hose bib timers

We can either install what is needed for you, or guide your DIY project to success. â€‹
