Using EM-1:

(use once a week)

  • One gallon clean, lukewarm water

  • 4 Teaspoons organic Molasses

  • 4 Teaspoons Effective Microorganisms

  • Mix together and allow to sit for 3 hours

               -covers 250 square feet

  • Wet the measuring cup before measuring molasses, use warm water which helps to clean out the measuring cup and makes it easier to dissolve the molasses.

  • Set the sprayer nozzle tip to a heavy-flow setting. (This mixture should not be applied as a fine mist.)

  • Make sure to immediately rinse sprayer bottle with bottle, then partially fill and spray clean water through nozzle to avoid clogging.

  • Optional: Use an aerator pump during brewing to supply more oxygen to the aerobic (oxygen loving) bacteria.
